A Contemporary Gathering (2022)
This exhibition based on the 2021 Whitney Biennial featuring disabled, non binary and wheelchair user advocate E Barker speaks on the contemporary definitions each American has on what it means to be an American through installation, video art, and performance art (leaning towards conceptualism). These artists primarily from diaspora make important commentary on the differences between their American and the idealized experience. Pieces range from typography installations, experimental video, and performance art.
